In this latest client project, I worked with MarComm Consulting to help them develop a standalone Training DVD for their course on the Globally Harmonized System.
MarComm Consulting is in the safety training business, and changes to the law now require that all businesses with employees in the United States must train their employees on the Globally Harmonized System for chemical labels and safety data sheets by December 1st, 2013. This system was developed by the United Nations, and adopted by OSHA to replace the current chemical and labeling training requirements by the Federal government.
The project was particularly fun because I researched and wrote the script for the training DVD, recorded the voice-over, created the visual presentation, edited the final screencast and audio tracks, and authored the final DVD for mass reproduction.
